  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp amchur (dry mango powder)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Heat Oil: In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Sauté Onions: Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add Aromatics: Stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, cook for a minute.
  4. Cook Tomatoes: Add tomato puree, turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, and chana masala powder. Cook until oil separates.
  5. Add Chickpeas: Mix in boiled chickpeas, salt, and water. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Finish with Spices: Add garam masala and amchur powder for extra flavor.
  7. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
